What ENA does

ENA provides a professional advocacy service to ensure that members’ views are presented to policy makers, key industry and governmental legislative and regulatory bodies.

We also present line company perspectives to the public and the media on issues that our industry believes are important. In addition, we keep track of new developments in energy sector governance, regulation and administration, and make sure that members are kept informed.

We also take part in various industry initiatives that underpin effective coordination of the complex electricity supply system.

Most of the papers and submissions we put forward appear on this site at Reports & Submissions, and others that are more technical or have a restricted circulation are in the site’s Members’ section, which is accessible to lines companies only. We publish a monthly web-based commentary on electricity industry issues called Electricity Network.
